Focus on Families

Through the partnership with our neighbors, the Campbell Village Housing Project, we are able to make an impact on entire families. From reaching heads of household and facilitating grocery delivery from the food bank to resume-writing and job search help in the resource center; we are helping to change lives.

We partner with local families in many ways, on National Night Out we work to bring people together.  On Christmas donate gifts for Santa to distribute. When needs arise we work with our partners to meet them. Through these compassionate ministries, we show the heart and hands of Jesus.

Changing the Culture of a Community

It’s more than just a hot meal. A Satur- day morning breakfast is shared among hundreds of people in the community each week. It is one of the few times where all people in the community, from drug dealer to church lady, black, brown and white, all come together. It has

been said to be “the best breakfast in the Bay Area!” The worship service that precedes the meal is just the “soul food” that many need. The un- churched and the seasoned Christians praise, worship, fellowship and com- mune together. It is truly a church for all of the community. We have several Bible studies each week to further feed on God’s word.

We are actively working to help our community develop the skills needed to become self sufficient we have presently help start five new business in our local area.

We are presently involved with the Cease Fire Initiative night walks and Life lines to Healing to help reduce the

Our new dormitory for men coming out of incarceration and sobriety programs. They will be trained at our Urban Ministry Insti- tute as future church leaders and workers. Then, they will be re-deployed into the in- ner city communities to serve Christ. Whereas at one time, they were the prob- lem; they will be a part of the solution.

Focus on the Children

We believe that our children are our best hope if we want to reverse the conditions of our com- munity. So we work diligently to give them eve- rything they need to get the best education possi- ble and work with their parents and guardians to provide a stable home life. This includes tu- toring— both biblical and secular. We provide camping opportunities in the summer and ac- cess to computers and other learning materials. Bay Community Fellowship provides a safe place for teens to hang out with state of the art enter- tainment and trained youth leaders to walk with them through life's ups and downs.
